1. On-Site Energy Systems™
Over two-thirds of the nation’s energy is used to heat, cool and light commercial and industrial buildings. That’s why Green Warrior developed its proprietary On-Site Energy Systems™ (OESs) to produce electricity onsite where it will be consumed.
OESs are sophisticated solar systems that are wholly owned, operated and maintained by Green Warrior. OES customers simply purchase the energy produced by the system at a discount. The OES and the host building (or parking lot, storage facility, open area, etc.) where it is located are both tied to the utility grid, which serves as a backup power supply when the sun isn’t shining or consumption outpaces OES production. The utility also acts as a customer for excess electricity produced by the OES that isn’t consumed by the host facility.
Green Warrior OESs leverage the company's innovative new SolarAssist™ technology. SolarAssist optimizes the power consumed by electric motors in appliances, HVAC systems, freezers, regrigerators and other machinery, helping them run cooler, quieter and more efficiently. These efficiency gains directly reduce customers' energy consumption.
OES customers never pay for the system. They simply agree to buy the power it produces through a Power Purchase Agreement.
2. Power Purchase Agreements
A solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a financial arrangement in which Green Warrior owns, operates and maintains an OES for the customer. The customer agrees to let Green Warrior install the OES on their property and to purchase the clean electricity it produces for a period of time, typically 20 years. If the OES produces more electricity than is consumed onsite, the excess is sold back to the utility grid.
Customers enjoy an immediate savings of at least 20% from their average electricity bill, with annual increases that are, on average, approximately 3% lower than utility rate hikes. This means that a PPA customer could pay as much as 40% less for electricity than its neighbors within ten years.
