Zero-Cost Solar Systems
Green Warrior’s On-Site Energy Systems™ (OES) are state-of-the-art solar powered utilities that are installed and operated right at the point of energy consumption—on commercial and industrial building rooftops, parking lots or surrounding land. These sophisticated solar systems are offered at no cost to the host business or organization, provided the installation site passes Green Warrior’s stringent feasibility assessment. Green Warrior assumes all costs for the OES, including design, installation, operation, insurance and maintenance. OES customers simply buy the power produced by the system at a discount—starting at 20% less than current electricity bills—as specified in the purchase contract or Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
Why OES-Generated Power Beats the Grid
- Cheaper: The most important reason is cost. Electricity produced by a Green Warrior is sold at an initial 20% discount to customers. That percentage can actually increase over time, as typical utility rate hikes of 4% to 5% outpace PPA pricing schedules. Within ten years, a Green Warrior OES customer could pay 40% less than its neighbor.
- Better: What is “better” electricity? Green Warrior OESs feature SolarAssist™ technology. Based on the company’s PowerWarrior product line, SolarAssist features harmonic filtering, power factor correction and power optimization circuitry that improves the quality of the electricity delivered to the host from the OES. This is particularly helpful for customers who rely on inductive motors to power HVAC systems, refrigerators, freezers, fans and machinery. This equipment runs cooler, lasts longer and is more efficient. SolarAssist can help Green Warrior customers save as much as 25% off their electric bill, lower their billing tier and possibly reduce or avoid power factor fees imposed by utilities.
- Cleaner: Solar energy is clean, renewable energy. Sunlight already powers the natural world through photosynthesis, weather patterns, evaporation, seasons and more. Green Warrior helps customers harness this energy and turn it into productive electricity without impact to the environment. OESs reduce customers’ carbon footprint, reduce dependence on fossil fuel and slow the need to increase utility infrastructure.
Unique Installation Options Increase Value
- Carports: One of the best applications for solar systems, such as Green Warrior OESs, is carports. Solar panel-covered parking can drive up property value, increase rents, elevate tenant, visitor, customer and employee satisfaction—all while reducing energy expenses. Solar carports provide protection from the weather and are typically equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles. Green Warrior’s proprietary solar racking system enables OESs to be configured for all types of parking lots and structures.
- Rooftops: The most common installation site for a solar system is on a building’s roof. Flat roofs, such as those found on most office buildings, industrial facilities, storage units, warehouses and other commercial buildings, are ideal for solar systems. If you building has a flat or nearly flat roof, you may be eligible for a zero-cost Green Warrior OES. Like all OES installation types, rooftop solar systems increase property values, reduce energy costs and make a public statement regarding positive corporate values.
- Land: Landowners are urged to seize the unique opportunity presented by Green Warrior to build and operate an OES at no charge. OESs generate revenue. Empty land typically does not. OESs also have very little impact on the environment, since the byproducts of electricity production with an OES are almost nothing. And, in the event that an OES needs to be removed from an open land installation site, the process can be completed in a matter of days with almost no impact to the land. Try that with a strip mine.
