That’s because Green Warrior designs, builds, owns, operates and maintains the OES.
On-Site Energy Systems are solar utilities located on school buildings or land or on property owned or controlled by a school district. Customers do not pay for OES equipment. Instead, the energy produced by the OES is sold back to the host facility (school or district buildings) at a rate that is reduced by 20% from the host’s annualized average bill. The savings continue to grow as utility rate hikes outpace OES energy prices by 2.5% to 3.5% per year. The contract that specifies the terms of this arrangement is called a Power Purchase Agreement.
