Spend Nothing—Save 20% or More On Your Electricity Bill
With all the rebates, credits and other incentives available for organizations adopting solar power, why choose Green Warrior? First of all, qualifying organizations pay absolutely nothing for a Green Warrior OES. It is wholly owned and operated by Green Warrior, who assumes all acquisition, operation, maintenance and insurance costs. Secondly, gov/ed and non-proft organizations are not eligible for the federal tax credit for solar systems.
Buy Electricity for 20% to 40% Less
Your school, department, agency or organization can immediately save 20% or more on its electricity bill with Green Warrior. On-site Energy Systems act like a local utility. They produce electricity on-site, right where the power is consumed. Green Warrior customers simply agree to purchase the power produced by the OES. This agreement is called a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). PPAs are contracts that specify the terms of the energy purchase. They are usually 20-year agreements and begin by guaranteeing Green Warrior customers an initial discount of at least 20% off their average electricity bill. Because your low rate is locked in, your bills are predictable and could, within ten years, provide a savings of 40% or more over neighboring buildings that still buy all their electricity from the utility grid.
OESs and the building, parking lot or land they reside on are still tied to the utility grid. This is to provide electricity during times of darkness, when the OES is not producing power. It also allows Green Warrior to sell electricity back to the grid when production exceeds consumption on-site.
