Project Preview: Cimarron Golf Resort
|
 |
 |
The award-winning Cimarron Golf Resort, located near Palm Springs, California, is the site of Green Warrior's next On-Site Energy System installation. The first phase of the project has passed the engineering review and calls for 378 solar panels (235 watts ea.) to be installed on the rooftops of the clubhouse and covered patio. The system size for this phase of the project is approximately 89 kilowatts. Construction on the OES is expected to begin by summer.

One of Cimarron's two spectacular courses
Cimarron holds special promise for Green Warrior. Not only is this resort one of the most scenic in the region, it also presents the unique opportunity for implementing several types of solar solutions.
Solar Carports, Golf Carts and Charging Stations
The course owns approximately 130 electric golf carts, which are currently charged by utility-provided AC (wall power). Green Warrior plans to convert these golf carts to solar, with integrated solar-panel rooftops that feature built-in inverters. Additionally, the company plans to build solar-powered carports in the facility's parking areas. Not only does this provide shaded parking for golfers and staff, it creates another energy source for the facility and Green Warrior. Plus, with inverters built into the parking structures, we will provide charging stations for the course's golf carts and the ever expanding wave of electric and hybrid vehicles.
7 Megawatt, 20-Acre Solar Farm
The most exciting aspect of Cimarron lies just past the northwestern edge of the courses. That's where Cimarron owns approximately 20 acres of undeveloped, flat land. Green Warrior is currently conducting a feasibility study for this land, and intends to develop a 7 megawatt, 30,400-module solar farm there.
The potential for this development is incredible--because it is just the beginning. The firm that owns Cimarron also owns eight other Sunbelt-state golf courses. With a successful implementation at Cimarron, we are confident that it will lead to Green Warrior solar developments at each of these other courses. We invite you to check GreenWarriorInc.com often for updates on the Cimarron development.

Dr. Green: Solar Stocks Skyrocket 37% Since Start of January
By Dr. Nicolas Green, president of Green Warrior
|
 |
 |
If you follow the market at all, you couldn't miss the stellar performance of solar stocks during the first quarter of 2011. Unrest in oil producing regions, natural disasters followed by crippled nuclear energy production in Japan--grim news for sure, but it just keeps getting sunnier for solar.
According to research firm Morningstar, solar stocks were up a staggering 37% since the beginning of the year. Morningstar monitors 145 industries, and solar beat them all--by a long shot. The No. 2 industry was far behind at 22%, and the S&P 500 Index was only up 5.9%.
Fossil Fuels Struggle While the Sun Keeps Shining
Keith Kohl, editor of industry newsletter Energy and Capital, just published this statement in a recent edition:
Peak Oil has become a grim reality in the United States... And for Alaska, it's downright scary.
2010 was a heart-wrenching year for Alaska.
Oil production averaged less than 600,000 barrels per day. It hasn't been that low since 1977--more than thirty years ago!
As if that weren't enough for the burliest oilman to shed a tear, do you remember when the USGS revised its estimate for the state's conventional, undiscovered oil in the National Petroleum Reserve... by 90%?!
The new estimate stands at approximately 896 million barrels--compared to the previous projection of 10.6 billion.
The low-hanging fruit is indeed gone.
The simple fact is that when the going gets tough for fossil fuels, the safe, clean, reliable electricity produced by the sun looks better and better. And growing demand means further commoditization of panels, racking systems and other components necessary for solar to gain even more market share.
The Time to Strike Is Now
In case you missed it, during his speech defending U.S. involvement in Libya, President Obama announced his goal to cut oil imports by 30 percent. Some states are already moving away from fossil fuels. Last year, Governor Ritter of Colorado signed into law a renewable energy standard requiring utilities to use 30 percent renewable energy. California looks to follow suit, with legislation gaining traction that will require one-third of all utility energy be renewable.
What does this mean for Green Warrior? The time to strike is now. You may be familiar with our On-Site Energy Systems (OESs), which provide no-cost solar systems to commercial, industrial and government facilities. These customers simply agree to buy the power the OES produces through a solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). We anticipate that demand for discounted solar energy will be so great that it will outstrip our ability to provide every PPA customer with an OES. What initially sounds like a negative could be a potentially enormous revenue stream for Green Warrior.
It works like this: Green Warrior uses its proprietary OES Analytics tool to locate, qualify and bind customers with a PPA. Instead of incurring the cost to design, install and maintain an OES, the company simply sells the PPA. Buyers could possibly be solar installers or investment entities like hedge funds. The potential size of the PPA resale market is limited only by the number of buildings, parking lots and open land available for solar installations--and that, readers, is simply huge.
$20 Million PPA for The OC
Don't see the potential in the PPA market? Take a look at Orange County, California, which just signed a $20 million solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The energy will be produced by a four-megawatt solar power system comprised of nine solar carports installed on county property. The agreement is expected to save the county $5.3 million over the life of the agreement, without paying anything for the solar system.
Everything is in place for Green Warrior to make a significant impact in the way solar energy is produced, consumed and purchased in this country. With our On-Site Energy Systems, Power Purchase Agreements and exciting new PowerSwatch and PowerWarrior products, Green Warrior has a very bright future.

Irvine, CA Warehouse and Manufacturing
Installation Wraps Up
|
 |
 |
Installation of the On-Site Energy System at a warehouse and manufacturing facility in Irvine, California is days away from completion. The 42 kilowatt system utilizes 188 rooftop-mounted panels to deliver power to the host facility.
The solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for this installation specifies an initial 20% discount on the customer's annualized average electricity usage. For this particular facility, that's an energy savings of nearly $150,000 over the life of the agreement. The property owners may also realize an increase in property value of 12 to 20 times the annual energy savings, based on current market conditions, or $86,000 to $140,000 in added value.

Installation crew preps roof with racking stanchions
Of course, the facility owner pays absolutely nothing for the On-Site Energy System. Green Warrior's business model provides significant energy cost savings, increased property value and reduced carbon footprint at zero cost to the end user. There are no capital expenditures, no maintenance or monitoring fees, no insurance payments or other costs.

Crane lifts panels onto rooftop
Green Warrior's PPA provides a dependable 20-year revenue stream for the company. Energy produced by the system that isn't used by the host facility is sold back to the grid at a premium, increasing revenue and minimizing risk. Even if the property owner or renter vacates the facility, Green Warrior is able to sell 100% of the energy produced by the system back to the utility. Plus, since the OES belongs to Green Warrior, the company can claim all available federal, state and local incentives.

Green Warrior On-Site Energy System installation completed
If you would like to save 20% or more off you electricity bill, run a greener business and improve your property value--with no cash outlay--contact Green Warrior at 949-382-6900 or online at GreenWarriorInc.com.

GreenWarriorInc.com
Complete Redesign a Success
|
 |
 |
The luck of the Irish was with the Green Warrior marketing team on March 17th. This past St. Patrick's Day marked the successful re-launch of GreenWarriorInc.com. The website underwent a complete redesign which better reflects the company's products, services and mission.
Twelve #1 Search Results
In a very short amount of time, the site has achieved Top 20 search results for 24 targeted keywords. Even more impressive is that we've earned 12 Number One search results for prime keywords, defeating the competition of over 30 million other websites also targeting these keywords.
The primary goal of the redesign was to make it easy for visitors to locate the information they want. Main navigation items were divided into key market tabs, including commercial, residential and government/education, with additional tabs for energy solutions and company information.
This simple interface allows visitors to quickly drill down to the exact page they need. On the Commercial tab, for example, visitors can easily drill down to pages that detail how our On-Site Energy Systems (OESs) benefit different vertical markets, like golf courses and mini storage facilities.
The Energy Solutions tab is also filled with tons of content that provides simple explanations of our wide product line, including OESs with SolarAssist technology, PowerWarrior products for commercial, industrial and residential use and our PowerSwatch and more.
We will be adding more content to GreenWarriorInc.com in the coming months. Check back often to learn more about our exciting OES projects, order a PowerWarrior or PowerSwatch or get more details about new products under development.
